Find the right home for you
Your Realtor will help you find the right home to fit your budget and lifestyle. There’s also a wealth of information available online:
- Realtylink is the property search site maintained by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and its Realtor members. View listings, find a Realtor, and read articles that give you practical home-ownership advice.
- REALTOR.ca is a property search site that over 100,000 Realtors across Canada support to help market properties on behalf of their clients.
- RECBC.ca is the website for the Real Estate Council of British Columbia, the body responsible for licensing and regulating Realtors in BC. It contains valuable consumer protection information.

Choose the right Realtor
The Realtor who helped you before is a good place to start. If you want to change your representation, look for names on “For Sale” signs in your neighbourhood or ask friends and family. Interview a variety of candidates and choose the one who fits you the best.
You can also find a Realtor through our directory.
Getting your home ready to sell
An attractive, well-kept home has a better chance of selling faster. Keep in mind that cluttered rooms make them look much smaller than their true size – try to create a feeling of spaciousness.
Minor updates, like improved lighting, can add value to your home. Think about how to highlight and improve your home’s best features.
